Being a Local Tourist

If I was a betting man, I’d almost be prepared to gamble that you’ve never thought of yourself as a tourist, unless maybe you’d traveled to your destination by aeroplane.

I’d never really thought about it until recently while I was on a small trip to London with my girlfriend. I’d seen The Light Show advertised and like the idea of it and before I knew it we were booking tickets and looking for places to stay. Our itinerary grew as we scoured the internet for anything to do in London that was free.
